Board President's Report
By Chuck Hungerford
Dear Coop Owners and Patrons:
New Leaf Market Board of Directors is happy to welcome two new members to the board: Darlene Duran and Jennifer Agabiti. Darlene and Jennifer will fill vacancies created by the resignations of Rhonda Adair and Ravinder Singh. Darlene has an article in the newsletter relating their recent experiences as board members.
Earlier this summer, I was fortunate to attend the annual conference (the CCMA) of the National Co-op Grocer's Association (NCGA). One of the workshops provided a list of acronyms and their meanings used in the land of food co-ops and organic growers. As you will discover, a whole world of co-opness is out there.
WHAT DO THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY …..?
Compiled by Karen Zimbelman.
