Scholarship Applications Available

It’s scholarship application time again! Applications are now available at the customer service desk for the 11th Annual New Leaf Market/Matthew Tansey and the 4th Annual New Leaf Market/Bryce Buchanan Memorial scholarships.
The Matthew Tansey scholarship is intended for individuals enrolled in a program of study for health, healing or nutrition. The Bryce Buchanan scholarship is for individuals enrolled in a program for the arts. One thousand dollars will be available for each scholarship, however sometimes it is shared between several recipients.
Both scholarships are open to anyone, although the scholarship committee reserves the right to give preference to New Leaf Market owners and employees, as well as programs in alternative methods of health, healing and nutrition, or art careers that might benefit others in unique ways. Previous applicants and recipients may reapply.
The deadline for submitting applications to the customer service desk is Tuesday, June 30. The scholarship winners will be recognized at the Annual Ownership Meeting, August 22. Advertising for the scholarships is minimal, so please help us spread the word!
